Hey everyone! I feel like I’ve taken a little break from the blog recently but I think I’m ready to get back on schedule and start getting organised again. This winter I’ve noticed that I’ve got a lot more pink things in my wardrobe and I wanted to share my tips
Styling pink with neutrals such as beige, cream, camel, white, grey and black can help slightly tone down the pink however, it also complements it so well. I try to balance out an outfit with a couple of pink items and the rest, very neutral colours as pairing too much pink can start to look like you’ve been dipped into a pink paint bucket (I’ve done this and learnt from it!). It’s all about the balance!
If you want to get some pink clothes but don’t know where to start, I would suggest getting some staple clothing. For example, this winter, I’ve bought a pink coat, a pink roll neck and some pink boots that have had loads of wear because they’re items I’m always reaching for on a chilly day. Think about the things that you get lots of wear out of and have a little search for some pink versions.
Experiment with different textures! Everything fur is perfect for winter and it’s also quite a trend right now too, so add some some pink to your outfit with something super furry and chic. Don’t stop there; there’s satin, lace, crochet, sparkles, leather, even denim! Adding a variety of textures to your wardrobe will really spice up an outfit as well as being a great way to introduce some new pink pieces.
Lastly, if you want to subtly add some pink to your outfits, just add some pink accessories. I always think pink hats, gloves and scarves are a great way to style it in the winter and there’s no going wrong with a gorgeous pink bag.
I really hope you enjoyed! I’m not an expert fashionista but I’ve picked up a few things over time😉 Thanks so much for reading, feel free to leave some blogpost suggestions in the comments,
Love Jasmine xx
