March Favourites! 2020

A while ago I used to post regular monthly favourite blogposts but I got a bit bored of them and decided to stop for a while. Anyway, I was reading them back and it made me want to do an updated one as I haven’t done one in a while and it would be nice to share some things that I’ve been enjoying at the moment. I probably won’t commit to doing one monthly but I may do some Favourites posts every once in a while.

Starting off with an affordable makeup product, I’ve found myself using the Barry M ‘That’s Swell ‘ Lip Plumper as a pretty finishing gloss over some lipstick or just on its own. I personally find that it gives my lips a little bit of extra fullness but it doesn’t last for super long however I love the glossy effect it leaves on my lips and it’s really moisturising. In conclusion, my lips look great when I wear this as well as being nourished. (Please excuse the state of the lipgloss, it’s been well used as you can see in the picture)

Next up is something that I haven’t been using everyday but whenever I like to feel a bit more luxe and it is the Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse Boost Multi-Correction Gel Cream. Everything I’ve tried from Nuxe before always feels very luxurious, I think it’s something about the scents they use in their products, everything always smells amazing. This cream hydrates your face and makes it feel fresh and glowing with radiance.

This next product came to my attention in an odd turn of events when my mum got sent the wrong product when ordering from the Clinique website. They accidentally sent her the Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Gel which she passed on to me because they said she could keep it. I didn’t expect to like it so much but I really feel like it’s helping my skin clear up a little and stop new blemishes from constantly appearing. I’m now running low on it and I’m desperate for some more!

For the last couple of months I’ve been wearing this stunning Micheal Kors watch which has beautiful details of dainty flowers, scattered on the face. This is actually my mums watch but I have it on loan since she just got a new one and she didn’t want this watch to be sitting around unworn. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous and I’ve been coveting it since the day she got it so I’m very pleased that I get to wear it.

To round up my March favourites, I’d like to share with you one way I’ve been spending time while we’re all staying safely in the house. My sister and I have been painting rocks – it sounds a bit random but it’s really soothing and fun. You can find loads of ideas of what to paint online and create some fab rock paintings. What will you do with all these painted rocks after? Well that’s for us to figure out later because for now it’s a bit of entertainment.

Thanks so much for tuning in to this blog post, I hope you enjoyed. I hope you’re all staying safe and well too,

Love Jasmine xx
