Budapest Look Book!

Happy Spring! How’s everyone feeling now the weather’s beginning to chirp up a bit and the suns starting to make an occasional appearance? I’m feeling very happy because last week I came back from a lovely holiday in Budapest. Today, I thought I’d share my holiday looks with you and give you all the details about them.

To create a comfy but stylish travel outfit, I paired a cotton cream blouse with some dark blue jeggings.  My blouse was an old favourite from Cath Kidston but you can find lots of simple, pretty blouses online or in stores, click ‘here‘ a lovely one I found on M&S. My comfy jeggings were from Primark which supply a fantastic range of denim jeans and jeggings. You’re going to see my trench coat a lot throughout this because I paired it with most of my outfits throughout the trip along with my patent, white, quilted bag which I bought from Shein because I wanted a stylish bag that would fit lots in it.

Unfortuntely, I didn’t get any photos of the blouse.

The first full day of the holiday was quite hot so I made the most of the sun in this stunning broderie anglaise dress from PrettyLittleThing. Once again, I paired it with the white bag so I could take my cameras and fit my coat in my bag and some heart sunnies from eBay to make it even more of a girlie and cute outfit. Oh yes, I nearly forgot to mention my lovely loafers that were the only shoes I wore the whole holiday because they matched absolutely everything. They’re a pinky nude with a contrast of patent and suede material, click ‘here‘ for the link to them.

For the most part of this day, I was swimming in around in a little white bikini from Primark in one of Budapest’s famous hot spa baths. It’s a broderie anglaise style from last year but I found a similar one from Miss Selfridge: Top and Bottoms. As the evening approached, I changed into another outfit for dinner however I didn’t get many clear pictures of it, I guess I was just having too much fun! I wore an embroidered bee top that I found in the outlet CathKidston store with a tweed skirt from Shein and a Primark cream belt. To keep me a bit warmer, I wore my pink Ted Baker cardigan over the top.

This wasn’t the outfit but it kind of gives you an idea (just imagine a tweed skirt instead)

In partnership with the broderie anglaise dress, this is one of my favourite outfits of the trip. I wore this cute tweed dress with this very pretty blouse and they were both super affordable as they came from Shein. This kind of gives me Legally Blonde/ school girl vibes but I love it! I put it with the nude loafers and also wore my trench when I wasn’t taking photos😂.

To round off the trip, I wore an outfit that I could wear around Budapest for the half the day but also travel in comfortably later in the day so I opted for another blouse, this time pink, paired with some light blue skinny jeans.

This turned into a longer blog post than expected but never mind, I guess it makes up for the lack of posts recently. I’ve just been finding it hard to make time to create blog posts recently.  Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed, what was your favourite outfit?
