April Favourites! 2018

April has come to a close, so you know what that means? Another favourites blogpost! Let’s get straight into it…

So far I’m loving this book called ‘A Night in With Audrey Hepburn’. I’m only a little bit in so I can’t give my full opinion yet but I can already tell this is a good one. I love an easy read and this is definitely one of those. If it’s got Audrey Hepburn in the title, it has to be good, right?!

These cute pink pumps have just been so handy for quick trips out (like going to town or the supermarket). They are a really neutral colour so they go with most of my outfits and they are so easy to slip on in a rush! Also, they’re pretty cheap because they came from Primark so there’s no worries if I over wear them and need some new ones!

I love retrieving stuff from the back of my makeup drawer and recently I dug up this Soap&Glory Illuminating Flaw Softening Lotion. This is great to mix with a dollop of my foundation and use as a tinted moisturiser, but it’s also fab for a no makeup day as a dewey lotion which evens out my skin tone a little. This has so many uses as it’s a multi purpose product but these are the uses I love it for.  You can also wear it as a highlighter because it has a really pretty shimmer to it.

A brand called Civion kindly let me pick out some pieces of their jewellery in return for a plug on my Instagram,  and I chose this gorgeous rose gold nail bracelet and these stunning vintage looking earrings. Lastly, this makeup bag that my Mum treated us all to is so cute and handy to slip into a bigger bag with some spare makeup bits in. It is slightly padded to protect your makeup but I just love that it’s pink with pretty gold lettering. My mum and sister have matching ones in different colours!
