My First Birchbox Experience!

Not long ago, my family and I went to London and we found a pop-up Birchbox shop on Carnaby Street. It was really cute and it was the first experience I’ve ever had with Birchbox. I haven’t signed up for the monthly subscription but my mum treated my sister and I to a box each.

Basically, you could get a box and fill it with 5 different products from sections such as makeup, skincare, body and hair. For one box it was £15 and the more you buy, the cheaper it gets for example mine and my sister’s were £12 and had we bought a third box it would have been £10.

I was very excited when I saw they had mini Hoola bronzers from Benefit. The size is perfect for travelling and I just know I’m going to love it.

This Spectrum brush looked gorgeous and I can’t wait to test it properly. The bristles are super soft though and it feels like such good quality.

So, I’m still really sad that nowhere seems to sell the Josh Wood repair hair oil anymore but in Birchbox I picked this N.4 Restore & Repair oil. I’m really hoping this will make my hair feel just as lovely.

Everyone always says coconut oil is amazing so I saw a pot and decided it was time for me to try this. At the moment I’ve put it on my back which is quite dry but I’m not sure what else I can do with it. Does anyone know some great ways to use it? Also, does it make spots worse?

I was interested to see what this Caudalie Radiance Serum was like. I’ve only tried it once so far but it made my skin feel really nice. I think this could be one that you can use under your makeup for a nice glowy effect or on a non-makeup day as a flaw softening serum.

My sister got this Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray and I really want to try this for myself so I might have to borrow one day. It supposedly protects your hair while also nourishing and smoothing it when you give your hair a blowdry.

Another item my sister collected was the Polaar Ice Pure Gentle Scrub. This is another one I feel I ought to try because it sounds luxurious. It softens your skin with arctic cotton as well as exfoliating.

Lastly, they popped in a free gift which was the Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet. This felt really lovely when I used it and my skin was really soft. However, I don’t think it will last long as I only used it once and I’m already halfway through it. To be fair it is sample size so it’s kind of expected.

Thanks for reading along, did you like this? If so give my blog a follow so you don’t miss out on any more posts! Have a great day everyone,
